ICE? (Immigration Customs and Enforcement?)

Hello again. No, I'm not writing about Immigration Customs and Enforcement, although that might be good for 'My Two Cents Worth'. No what I'm talking about is ICE as 'In Case of Emergency'.  In my android Samsung 4 phone there is a place for 'IN CASE OF EMERGENCY'. Put whomever you wish in there along with their email and phone number. My area has the ability to put more than one ICE contact. Why ICE? If you are injured or others injured and you cannot respond, first responders will look for the 'ICE' information. If you have your phone locked make sure you have a back up with ICE contacts. Nothing scares a parent of a young adult or a young adult finding out their parent has been in an accident and not knowing of  the accident. Since we now have the means to carry information with us, create a spread sheet with all your medications and allergies and medical conditions you or they have on a flash drive.   This will give the first respon...

First Aid Kits - Your Home's Defense

     When I was creating tutorials I though what would be the best to begin with. Then I thought back to my childhood and the first aid kits my dad had in the car and his work truck.  The first aid kit he had in his workshop and the first aid kit mom had in the home. Each was distinctive, and each provided a different type of safety.      To begin with, a first aid kit should be within reach in case of an accident, either a small cut or rose thorns or bee stings. In this blog I hope to point out some of the areas you may not have been aware of.      The picture below shows what I have on the counter of my bathroom sink. Alcohol swabs, 2 x 2 dressings scissors tape cotton swabs, all sorts of tape, cotton swabs, band aids and  Neosporin antibiotic.
